Additionally, the camera is said to have a 155-degree field-of-view plus support for 4K/60 FPS and 2.7K/120 FPS video capture. In other words, the Avatar 2 will have a more light-sensitive and larger camera sensor. Still, it will shoot photos and videos at unchanged resolution.

DJI Avata 2 leaks Design

At first glance, the DJI Avata 2 retains the hallmark aesthetic of its predecessor, yet upon closer inspection, several refinements become apparent. The drone maintains its Sinhoop design, with enclosed propellers that not only enhance the safety of indoor flight but also enhance stability against unexpected collisions like accidental tree bumps.

Specifically, the DJI logo adorns the drone’s top, while the back proudly displays “AVATA 2” in large letters, indicating its place as the next generation in the Avata lineup.

DJI Avata 2 2024 Performance:

The Avata 2 is rumoured to be equipped with the same sensor as the DJI Action 4, suggesting significant improvements in image quality and low-light performance. With a dual-band and a higher bitrate, the Avata 2 looks like a vital upgrade over its predecessor – the DJI Avata.

Size and Waight

The Avata 2 uses a 3-inch propeller mounted with 2 small screws and has a longer body that can accommodate a larger battery, potentially offering a longer flight time (perhaps 20 minutes or even more than 25 minutes).

The Avata 2 is estimated to weigh around 460g-480g, which is considerably heavier than its predecessor’s 410g. So, it can be louder during flights, which can be a drawback for some users. Some sources claim it may be lighter, but this has yet to be confirmed.

DJI Avata 2 Battery Life:

When DJI Goggles 2 is used with DJI Avata, it can display the power level of the goggles in real time. When fully charged, battery life lasts about 2 hours.
