BMW M3 CS 2023: Price, Release date, Specs & Engine

BMW M3 CS 2023: Full Review, Specs & Price – The M3 is BMW’s most recognizable driver’s car, and the current model demonstrates that the manufacturer knows what made many past M models instant classics. The current M3’s base configuration is a rear-drive 473-hp sedan with a six-speed manual transmission. If you choose the 503-hp M3 Competition, you’ll have to settle for an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The M3 Comp is available with rear- or all-wheel drive, and its track-tuned chassis is stiff-riding to the point of resembling a race vehicle. The rear-drive Competition model’s 60-mph time of 3.5 seconds in our tests was 0.4 seconds faster than our long-term basic car. Both models will excite you on the road or the racetrack. And if you’re patient enough to master its Rubik’s Cube of drive modes.

BMW M3 CS 2023 Release Date

This new BMW M3 CS is currently simply a prototype, launched in March of 2023, with sales starting soon after. Keep a lookout for an official announcement during the following.

BMW M3 CS 2023 Design

This camouflaged prototype BMW M3 has a number of aggressive elements that indicate it isn’t your average M3. It will be a prototype M3 CS. To begin, the front features the same grille as the new BMW M4 CSL, as well as yellow daytime running lights as the BMW M5 CS. When viewed from the side, the car appears to ride significantly lower than a conventional M3. The rear of the car, on the other hand, remains untouched, sporting the same quad tailpipes and deep diffuser.

BMW M3 CS 2023 Engine and Driving

There are no engine details for the new BMW M3 CS yet, but you can bet it will still have a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged straight-six. The normal M3 Competition has 510 horsepower and 650 Newton meters of torque, but the CS model will almost probably have more. It may use elements from the engine of the more powerful M4 CSL, which produces 550hp. It is unlikely to be as tough as the M4 CSL. Instead, the M3 CS might be outfitted with the same adaptive dampers as the more expensive BMW M5 CS. It will be very certainly lighter than a regular automobile.

BMW M3 CS 2023Real-World MPG and Fuel Economy

The 2022 M3 sedan is rated at up to 16 miles per gallon in the city and 23 miles per gallon on the highway. The addition of all-wheel drive reduces the highway estimate to 22 mph. Its real-world highway fuel economy was impressive, outperforming the EPA estimate by achieving 32 mpg on our motorway test loop—part of our rigorous testing procedure.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The M3’s infotainment system is controlled by a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a rotary knob and buttons on the center console. The system includes a number of charging connections as well as a number of basic and optional features. BMW has finally integrated Android Auto and no longer requires a premium subscription for Apple CarPlay. Both are standard, as is a Harman/Kardon sound system and a one-year SiriusXM satellite radio subscription. Optional features include gesture controls, a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot, and a wireless charging pad.
