The (2023) 76th Tony Awards Winners, News, Date, Host, Tickets & Predictions

The award was established in 1947 by the American Theater Wing Committee headed by Brock Pemberton. The award is named after Antoinette Perry. She is an actress, director, producer, and co-founder of the American Theater Wing, which launched its first event in 1947. In the early years, the ceremony was known as the “Perry Awards”. Since 1967, the awards ceremony has been broadcast on national television in the United States. The 2009 Oscars telecast had 36.3 million viewers.

The broadcast will be hosted by Ariana DeBose. He won an Academy Award last year for his performance in Steven Spielberg’s remake of “West Side Story.” She was nominated for a Tony Award in 2018 playing in “Summer.” The Preshow is hosted by Julianne Hough & Skylar Astin.
