Model X Interior

The new 2024 Tesla Model X is a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive battery electric SUV available in Model X and Model X Plaid trim levels. The luxury electric car has expanded into the crossover segment and is updated to include better options. 2024 Model X cars are offered in three X models, starting with the dual-motor standard range SUV, which makes 670 horsepower and offers a 269-mile EPA-rated driving range. It’s capable of a 0-60mph time of just 3.8 seconds.

The more expensive Long Range model comes with an estimated 348-mile driving range. Also, the performance-oriented Plaid model costs more but makes an astounding 1020 horsepower and can still go 333 miles between charges. Meanwhile, the range-topping Model X Plaid will hit 60mph in just 2.5 seconds.

Tesla Model X Refined aerodynamic components work with new wheels and tires to help you go further with sharper handling and better ride comfort. This article discusses the complete interior pros and cons of the 2024 Model X.

2024 Model X Interior:

A complete and almost buttonless interior design is the classic Tesla car. The driver is faced with a digital gauge display and a unique yoke-style steering controller, which is often frustrating to use. At least one regular steering wheel is available as a no-cost option.

The New 2024 Model X windshield roof is also unique in that it provides an almost uninterrupted view from the base of the hood to the front seat passengers and what lies above. Despite these whiz-bang features, the Model X cabin makes us uncomfortable, especially considering that its price easily offers six-figure barriers, non-descript air vents, faux panels, and flat-backed seats.

The 2024 Model X offers seating for up to seven with a spacious cabin with the world’s largest panoramic windshield. Its hidden vents provide a clean and powerful cabin conditioning experience. With ample storage space and a 5,000-pound towing capacity, Model X is built for maximum utility. The front doors open and close automatically, allowing easy loading of the rear doors of the Falcon Wing.

Also, tri-zone climate control, ventilated front seats and HEPA filtration are standard. The downward curve of the tailgate limits headroom back there although they do fold flat easily. But it’s huge inside. Total luggage volume is 2,487 liters, which puts it on par with the Land Rover Discovery.

2024 Model X Smart Connectivity and Infotainment System:

A secondary digital readout acts as a gauge cluster directly in front of the driver. It has upfront the cabin is dominat by two screens: the 17 inches in the dash, and the eight-footer that arcs back over your head.  The touchscreen with left-right tilt offers 2200 x 1300 resolution, true colors, and exceptional responsiveness for gaming, movies, and more.

New Model X mid-size luxury crossover SUV Connect to multi-devices instantly with Bluetooth or charge wirelessly and quickly with 36-W USB-C charging. Tesla’s infotainment system is certainly high-tech, but what you don’t currently have is Apple CarPlay or Android Auto capabilities.

Tesla has yet to adopt support for Apple CarPlay, preparing to eventually integrate Apple AirPlay into the car’s software. Rear-seat passengers are treated to their small display that provides entertainment. Presumably, some control over the characteristics of the car.

Also, the interior design is pretty basic, the materials less than premium, and the seats slippery and unsupportive. It’s not a cabin you’re ever going to feel comfortable in that’s more like piloting a posh Transit. One kitted out with LED headlights with a 22-speaker stereo and heated seats and steering wheel. The 960-watt audio system delivers the best listening experience wherever you are. This will allow drivers to stream high-quality audio and potentially video from their iPhone to their Tesla vehicles.
