MacOS Sonoma 14.4 Beta 5

Apple has scheduled the fifth beta of the upcoming macOS Sonoma 14.4 update. It has been sent to developers for testing purposes. The updated software may arrive a week after the release of the fourth beta. Registered developers can opt-in to the beta through the Software Update section of the System Settings app. Still, it’s important to note that accessing the beta requires an Apple ID associated with an Apple developer account.

According to Mac Rumors, the company introduced some new macOS Sonoma 14.4 iOS 17.4 beta features, such as new emoji characters. However, I am still waiting to hear of anything else being available in beta for macOS Sonoma 14.5 Beta 2024.

MacOS 14.4 Beta 5 is now available for developers as Apple may release this new operating system update in March this year. Although macOS 14.3 was already a light update, 14.4 looks the same. Apple is adding minor new features throughout the macOS 14.4 beta system. We expect to see something similar in MacOS 14.4 Beta 5.

Additionally, Apple released the fifth beta version of its other non-iOS software updates. These include macOS Sonoma 14.4, tvOS 17.4, and HomePod 17.4 updates.

2024 MacOS 14.3, Apple has Added the Following Features:

Playlist collaboration in Apple Music lets you invite friends to join your playlist, and everyone can add, rearrange, and remove songs.

Emoji reactions can be added to any Apple Music Companion playlist track. Apple Care & Warranty in Settings shows your coverage for all devices signed in with your Apple ID.

Apple can refine FaceTime to improve meetings in the new macOS Sonoma 14.4 Beta 5 software update. Disables feedback by default to ensure smooth conversations. Apple TV and Apple Music updates include a new splash screen and a rebranded Apple Music “Home.” Also, Vision Pro can support a 180° view for an immersive experience

Meanwhile, the update includes new emojis and fixes for missing wallpapers. For example, the Pro Black wallpaper for the M3 MacBook Pro reflects the ongoing effort to personalize the user interface.

The Podcasts app gets an update with a feature highlight popup, while Siri has improved German language support and reading messages in different languages. Apple’s virtual assistant has increased its versatility.

The new macOS Sonoma 14.4 Beta 5 is now available for developers and public beta testers. You can find out more details on Apple’s developer website.
