Yesterday, during an event primarily devoted to the unveiling of its subcompact electric hatchback, the UrbanRebel. Volkswagen Group’s Spanish electric performance brand Cupra provided a full overview of its production goals. As a more emotive alternative to the Volkswagen ID.2, the front-wheel-drive UrbanRebel built on the MEB Small platform is expected to go on sale in 2025, while a Cupra electric car will be available a year early. The Tarascan production model was not given much detail. Although Cupra did say that it would be the brand’s vehicle for globalization and expansion into new markets.
