2025 Acura Integra Type S: Release Date, Specs & Price
2025 Acura Integra Type S Is Coming Soon is a high-performance version of the five-door fastback (which also features a hatch) that Acura has stated is in the works and will be added to the Integra lineup for the 2025 model year.
According to the premium Honda brand, the camouflage-clad Integra Type S would offer “maximum street performance and driver involvement” and be powered by a 2.0-liter VTEC turbocharged engine with “over 300 horsepower.” The Type S will only be available with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Civic Type R’s Engine and Manual Transmission will be Installed in the Integra Type S-
Acura has stated that like the Civic Type R, The Integra Type S would be powered by a “high-revving turbocharged 2.0-liter VTEC” engine with more than 300 horsepower. Likewise, the Integra will only be available with a six-speed manual transmission. Additionally, the Integra will include a limited-slip differential.
Faster Teggy, Faster-
Acura will provide the entire powertrain specifications and other product data when the car makes its official appearance early next year. However, I can confirm that the 2025 Acura Integra Type S will use a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine with “more than 300 horsepower,” connected only to a six-speed manual transmission. If anything about it sounds familiar.
It’s because the 2025 Honda Civic Type R has similar specifications—exactly 315 horsepower and 310 lb-ft. Similar to how the ordinary Integra matches the Civic Si. It appears likely that Integra Type S will produce the same result.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance-
The basic Integra is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 200 horsepower that was taken from the Honda Civic Si. All of these 200-hp versions are front-wheel drives and have continuously variable automatic transmissions (CVT). As standard; however, A-Spec variants also have a limited-slip differential and a six-speed manual transmission as options.
The 2.0-liter inline-four turbocharged in the Type S is substantially more potent and should produce over 300 horsepower. More specific specifications will be released soon. But it will probably only be available with front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission. The A-Spec with the CVT was 0.1 seconds slower to reach 60 mph on our test track than the six-speed manual A-Spec.
2025 Acura Integra Type S Looks Sharp in Camouflage-
The teaser pictures Acura released showcase a Type S that has been disguised. Although many of its details are still hidden, it is simple to identify the aggressive bodywork that is concealed beneath the plastic wrap. The rear bumper has a tri-tip exhaust right in the middle. Precisely like the Type R, the front bumper has an even more aggressive appearance.
It’s generally reasonable to presume that, if any changes are made at all, the Integra Type S will retain Type R’s powerplant. That 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 in the Type R makes 315 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Which is a modest improvement over the previous model.
