However, if the moon is not sighted on April 8, the crescent moon will be sought on April 9 and otherwise on April 9. Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on April 10, 2024, indicating that Muslims will fast for 30 days instead of 29 this Ramadan.

On Monday, the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia announced the day of sighting the crescent moon of the month of Shawwal on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The court called on all Muslims and experts in Saudi Arabia to look at the moon of the month of Shawwal at the end of Ramadan. Astronomers and religious committees are expected to declare the Shawwal crescent not visible tomorrow night.
According to astronomical experts, if the moon is not sighted on Monday, Eid al-Fitr will be on Wednesday, April 10, the expected date for most countries. Among these countries is Morocco, which is expected to see the Eid al-Fitr crescent moon on Tuesday.
Ramadan began on March 11 in Morocco, so it will be completed in 29 days this year if Wednesday is confirmed as Eid al-Fitr. However, Saudi Arabia announced on April 10 that Ramadan will be completed in 30 days since the holy month began in the Gulf nation on March 11.
